 VARSITY SWIMMING
The W ardlaw-Hartridge Var­ sity Swim team finished their sea­ son with a strong victory against OldBridge. Theirfinalrecordwas
13-3.
Jon Hegna, sophomore, was the
team'sleadingpointgetterfor the year. C.J.Swenson,freshman,also stepped in to be right behind Hegna on the point chart. Eric "P illsbury" Lybeck, another freshman, also finished in the top five on the point chart.
The team finished strong and had some individual standouts at the Prep B Conference M eet ear­ lier this season. Hegna picked up a bronze in the fifty free while the 200 medley relay team of
Swenson, Derek Rogers, Noah Fishkoff, and Hegna placed sec­ ond and received the silver. Swenson also placed fifth in the 200 individual medley.
The tandem o f Rogers and Ian Freeman placed sixth and seventh respectively in the 100 breast­ stroke. Fishkoff and Lybeck also
placed fourth and sixth respec­ tively in the 100 butterfly. And rounding it o ff was an eighth place finish by Freeman and a tenth by Melanie Laird in the 100 freestyle,
