Boys' Soccer
In a very eventful year for Wardlaw- Hartridge sports, the boys' varsity Gold Division Champions earned much deserved recognition. Even before tournament play, the team dominated the regular season impressively with its strong record.
Then they clinched the Greater Middlesex Conference Division for the second year in a row. Jay Choi T3 observed, "This year was a big transition with a new coach, but we had a united team with the help of co captains Arturo
IMartinez '12 and Zachary Bialik T3." Sam Sherman T5 added, "Coach Pedro really insired us."
Volleyball
As its season progressed, the W-H communituy gained more appreciation for the sport of volleyball. The girls' team united and worked together to improve their record from last year. As Joanna Brautigan '14 put it, "We are looking forward to next year so that we can really show how much we have learned."
Girls' Tennis
Finishing with a 17-5 record, the W ardlaw girls' varsity tennis team had one of its best seasons in recent history. After the retirement of coaching legend Bob Bynum at the end of last season, former JV coach Ron Haynes took the reigns as head coach of the team. Under the guidance of Haynes, the team excelled immensely this season. Player Sonya Sinha '12 summed up the season. "We practiced hard and played hard. The results speak for themselves."
