Halloween: more than costumes & candy
"Twelve Angry Jurors" was a thrilling production about twelve jurors trying to agree on a verdict for the case of a boy who's accused of killing his father. At first, it seems to be an "open and shut" case, as one juror puts it, with all evidence pointing to the guilt of the boy. But when one woman votes not guilty, the jury begins a series of discussions-and arguments- that show that there is more to the case than they thought. The fall play saw several new faces on the W-H stage including senior Vraj Patel, juniors Vanessa Santana and Danielle Coover, and freshman Julia Linger. “This play gave the actors a lot of freedom to develop their characters in their own ways," says senior Catherine Badalamenti, who played Juror #4. "We created background stories for
our characters that allowed us to better relate to the complicated story of this case." |

wrong
Most everyone loves Halloween, with its costumes, parades, and bags of goodies. Wardlaw-Hartridge students were no exception. From Pre-K to pre-college, both students and teachers celebrated the occasion with innovative outfits and painted faces. The festivities of the day ended with a spirited parade of Lower School students and their senior buddies.
