Brett has extensive planning, design, permitting, value engineering, and construction management experience covering municipal infrastructure, civil/site design and land development projects. His experience includes providing professional consulting services for both pri- vate and municipal sector clients. Serving as project manager, Brett’s project list includes large scale resi- dential, commercial and mixed-use developments, pe- troleum facilities, marinas, dredge and ll projects, water resource, stormwater management system and utility improvements, roadway projects, municipal parks and infrastructure design.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
City of Lake Worth Neighborhood Streets Pro- gram Management, Palm Beach County, City of Lake Worth, Project Manager, Supervisor. As project manager, Brett is responsible for schedule and cost performance as well as overall delivery of the project. WGI was contracted by the City of Lake Worth to provide program management services and support the administration of the $40M Neighborhood
track progress and celebrate successes. Coordination of social media activities for the Pro- gram, and aerial photography and inspection using WGI drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), is also provided.
Jones Creek Preserve, Palm Beach County, Town of Jupiter. Jones Creek Preserve is an existing 1.34-acre conservation area located along Indiantown Road in Jupiter, Florida. Working with the Town of Jupiter will be preparing and permitting construction documents to accommodate new parking area, access drive, and walkway constructed with previous concrete; picnic pavilion, and kayak launch area. WGI will be providing civil engineering, survey, structural, and environmental services.
Cinquez Park Design-Build, Palm Beach County, West Construction, Inc. Brett served as project manager for the civil engineering, landscape architecture, irrigation design and environmental services for the design, permitting, and construction of Cinquez Park for the Town of Jupiter. Cinquez Park is located on approximately 13 acres immediately north of the intersection of Indiantown Road and Center Street in Jupiter, Florida. The Park’s develop- ment has been split into two phases. Phase I is an open space park which includes on-street parking, a small restroom/storage building, sidewalks, gazebos, and a dog park. The future Phase II of Cinquez Park is currently planned to include a playground area, additional side- walks, an additional gazebo, and potentially construct a treehouse in the large Banyan tree located on the property.
Lake Worth 2020 Infrastructure Projects, City of Lake Worth Utilities Department, Project Manager/Engineer-of-Record. Brett served as the Project Manager and Engi- neer-of-Record (EOR) for a team of civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineers in planning, data collection, design, and permitting for water, sanitary, drainage and roadway improvements for three of the seven Lake Worth 2020 Year One projects. Facing a very ag- gressive project schedule, Brett led a team to develop construction documents for the instal- lation of new water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and roadway to improve the level of service to schools, residential and commercial users. The project included new connections to adjacent municipal utility owners, railroad crossings, interstate crossings and an analysis of accessibility during construction. Design and management issues faced and overcome by Mr. Oldford included an aggressive design and construction schedule and constructability issues due to limited construction laydown area in vicinity of projects.

Streets Program. The objective of the Neighborhood Streets Program is to improve the City’s aging infrastructure. WGI’s role includes the management and coordination of sever- al consultants and contractors through planning, public outreach and involvement, design, bidding, and construction. WGI functions as a liaison between the City of Lake Worth, con- sultants, contractors, residents, and other stakeholders. The program management respon- sibilities include oversight of all scheduling activities, project and program costs, and the technical performance of consultants and contractors to ensure the Neighborhood Streets Program meets the goals and objectives of the City. Oversight will be provided through all project phases, including the preparation of construction plans, contract bidding documents, construction, and overall contract compliance. The public outreach and involvement respon- sibilities include development and maintenance of an overall program website that provides City of cials, emergency services, and the community a place to review all upcoming work,
