Dr. Young’s research efforts focus on cancer immunology and molecular biology to further the
understanding of disease processes and improve methods for diagnosis, prevention and
treatment of disease. He has presented his clinical findings at numerous national and
international scientific conferences. He serves on the editorial review Board of The Scientific
Pages of Head and Neck Surgery and as a trainer for the Academy of Communication in
Healthcare. He is a member of several professional medical organizations, including the
American College of Surgeons, the American Head and Neck Society and the American Thyroid
Association.
