Read the description of sickle blood cells disease. Answer the following questions.
The blood cells formation above is commonly found in the body of a person who suffers anemia. The normal
blood cells are in circular shape. The normal blood cells are flexible and globular. In the people with sickle cells
disease, their blood cells are inflexible and sharply pointed at the two ends. This sickle cells are unable to carry
as much oxygen to the body tissue. Moreover, they also get stuck in blood vessels which later break into
fragments that interrupt the healthy blood flow. Therefore, when some of the red blood cells change into sickle
cells, a person will start a mild symptom of anemia. The person will feel fatigue, paleness, shortness of breath,
small strokes, and etc. if this stage happens in their blood cells. If all of the blood cells become sickle cells, the
blood flow will meet a problem. There will be a stoppage of blood flow damages or kill the body tissue which
similar to heart attack or stroke symptoms.
