Malin Kundang was a clever and

mischievous kid. He often chased

chickens in the neighborhood and hit

them with a broomstick.

One day while he was chasing the

chickens, Malin fell down and hit a big

stone that left a big mark on his left arm.

Malin Kundang finally grew up to be a

man. Because his family’s condition did

not get better, he came up with a

thought to travel to another country, and

like his father, change the fate of his

family.

Full of determination, he set sail with a

captain who was already successful and

owned a trade ship.
