hime’s hand in marriage. Kaguya-

hime refused to see any of these

men. Most men returned home once

they were refused, but there were

five princes who grew obsessed with

her beauty and contined to visit

Kaguya-hime, hoping to meet her.

Each time they visited, Kaguya-hime

politely refused to see them. But the

five princes were very stubborn, and

they refused to give up.
