rope with all their strength but
weren’t unable to pull it. When all
hope was lost, the woman untied her
baby and set him on the ground. The
baby quickly pulled the rope and
filled the calabash her mother was
holding on her head. Later, he pulled
the Shettu’s water bucket filled with
water. “I can’t believe this!” said
Shettu. “After all, he is the son of
Master Man,” answered the woman.
When Shettu went back home, she
told her husband what she witnessed.
