     The Phoenicians were the first to introduce iron
      and potter’s wheel to the region.
      Then, the Celtics arrived and settled in northern
      Spain. In 218 B.C, the Second Punic War
      occurred between Carthage and Rome, and
      during this period, some part of Spain became a
      Roman province called Hispania.
      Then, in 219 B.C, all the Spain kingdoms came
      under the rule of the Roman Empire. From 500
      A.C, Spain goes under different changes. First, in
      500 A.C, the Visigoths takes over much of Spain.
      However, in 711, the Moors invade Spain and
      change its name into al-Andalus. After few years,
      the Reconquista begins by the Christians to
      retake Spain.
      Then, in 1094, El Cid conquers the city of
      Valencia from the Moors and in 1137, the
      kingdom of Aragon has formed.
