Rivers in the Underworld

There are six main rivers that are

visible to both the living world

and the underworld. Each of their

names reflect different emotions

associated with death. The first and

most well known of them all is the

Styx. The Styx is the central river

of Underworld and it is associated

with the goddess Styx and the

emotion of hatred. This river circles

the underworld seven times. Next

is the Acheron, the river of pain.
