         did not feel that material wealth was




         the life’s ultimate goal.








         The Ascetic Life




         When Siddhartha reached the age



         of  29 he left the palace to meet his



         subjects. Despite the king’s effort


 to a son. Till he was of  29 years   from trying to hide the condition of




 Siddhartha remained as a prince.   the poor from Siddhartha, the result



 Although records show that the king   was quite different. When he left he



 provided Siddhartha with everything   saw the sick, aged and suffering of




 he could need or want, Buddhist   the people around him. When the
