Moments later, a servant of the

monk came and said, “The son of

an army officer is here to see you.”

The monk walked towards the son

of the army officer and welcomed

him to his monastery.

After the army officer’s son left the

monastery, Qui Jun felt confused

and asked, “Why did you greet the

son of the army officer and not

greet me? Don’t monks always

greet people?”
