was no answer and so he fell asleep
outside the door.
The next morning, the woodcutter
awoke while it was still dark. He
made up his mind to go early into
the woods and get twice as much
lumber so that he can buy even more
cakes for his daughter.
So the man left the pile of wood in
front of his house and went back
into the deep forest for more wood.
But once again he has stayed too
long and the marketplace had closed
down. So the man once again slept
