Chronic motor tic disorder
has two other variants.
The disorder is related to
Tourette’s syndrome and
transient tic disorder.
Transient tic disorder is
the most prevalent tic disorder
and describes a situation
in which one or more tics,
of either a vocal or motor
disposition, is present for
a minimum of four weeks
but lasts no more than a year.
