     All sharing Gurkha blood and all
      brave, they were trained to kill their
      enemies no matter what. One
      quality they already had in them
      was having each other’s backs.
      The British force taught them how
      to use guns. Some of them learned.
      Many of them always preferred
      their own traditional weapon
      ‘khukuri’ used for close combats.
