Nepalese Gurkha soldiers are known
for their bravery across the world.
When the British East India
Company tried to invade Nepal to
conquer, both suffered heavy
casualties and lives.
The British realized the potential
Gurkha soldiers had. So they
managed to end the war signing
Treaty of Sugauli in 1815 which
allowed them to recruit brave
Gurkha soldiers from Nepal to their
army.
