Instructor: David Duffus
David is a Partner in the Global Forensics & Litigation Services Practice at Baker Tilly
Virchow Krause, LLP. For more than 25 years, he has specialized in working on complex
litigation and dispute matters, with a significant focus on damage analyses and valuations.
David also provides services related to fraud and forensic investigations. David regularly
works with organizations in manufacturing, financial services, insurance, healthcare,
higher education, real estate, and construction.
David works extensively with counsel through all phases of the litigation process, from
discovery through expert testimony. David serves as an expert witness and provides
deposition testimony in state and federal court and in alternative dispute settings. He has
testified over 80 times at trial, deposition and in alternative dispute settings.
In addition to his responsibilities at Baker Tilly, David currently serves on the AICPA
Forensic & Litigation Services Committee and chairs the Economic Damages Task
Force. He has also taught the live version of this course.
