Gasket hitch coil
The classic method for tying off coils is ingeniously
simple and not only locks the loops in place but can
be used for hanging the coil up or tying them in
pairs. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll never use
anything else.
1 Coil the line, and take at least three turns around the waist. Put a bight
in the working end and pass it through the top of the coil.
