Spectacles cord
Always losing your specs? Not any more! You can
make a simple neck cord with a short length of
string and a couple of beads. You might need to find
your specs first to read the instructions, though…
1 Tie a loop in both ends of a 14in (36cm) long length of (0.2cm) cord.
You can use a figure-eight loop on a bight, as shown, or the fancier
Matthew Walker loop.
2 Thread a bead over each loop. It should be a tight fit – use a thread to
pull the loop though if necessary.
