Thrown angler’s loop
This is partly a thrown knot, partly just a
shortcut knot. Either way, it must be the fastest way
to tie an angler’s loop – the knot beloved of
fishermen who appreciate its ability to hold slippery
fishing line. Get throwing!
1 Put a bight in the end of a line, allowing about 10in (25cm) of the
working end to hang down.
