Tie 7: Onassis
If you’re going to have a wide tie, then why not go
all the way and tie it in the style of a Greek shipping
tycoon? Named after Aristotle Onassis (and, yes, he
did actually wear his ties like this – sometimes), it’s
deceptively simple to tie.
1 Loop the tie around your collar, with the wide end much longer than the
narrow end. Cross the wide end over the narrow end and then pass it up
between your collar and the tie.
