Prusik bottle sling

Climbers will be familiar with the Prusik knot,

invented by Austrian mountaineer Dr Karl Prusik in
the 1930s. Little did the good doctor know that his

ingenious sliding knot would be put to good use as a
bottle sling.

1 Tie the ends of a line together to make a loop, and pass it around the

bottle as shown.
