Vanishing knot 4: Tom Fool’s knot

Another knot for children to impress their

friends – and for adults to try to work out how it’s
done! It starts off as an impossible tangle then, with

a magic flick of the wrists, it disappears.

1 Start off with the same set-up as for the Tom Fool’s knot, forming a pair

of underhand loops.
