Versatackle
The versatackle can be used to pull two objects
together within the initial bight. Alternatively, the
tail of the first loop can be made longer and be
attached to an object. Either way, the contraption
can be used to tension rigging, lash a dinghy down
onto a deck or trailer, or even clamp wood together.
1 Tie an angler’s loop in the end of the line – leaving a long end if this is to
be attached to either point (see above).
