Adjustable bend

Here’s a clever way of making a bend that can be

adjusted without untying a single knot. Use it to
secure something that is in regular use instead of a

bungee (eg a binocular case or washboards). And, if
you think it just looks like a pair of rolling hitches,

then you’re not wrong.
