DIRECTOR’S BRIEF

Members,

How exciting it was to celebrate our 100th Annual Conference
in Chicago in September. We blew away past attendance
records with 303 attendees. We also crossed the 1,000 member
mark shortly before our conference. Congratulations to our
newly elected officers and directors.

The planning is underway for our 2026 Midterm Meeting in
Casablanca, Morocco. We will be staying at the Barcelo Anfa
Hotel. You will find the registration available on our website
as well as a link to hotel reservations. The rate of 2,000
Dirhams is approximately US$220 and includes breakfast.
This is for a single room and we expect a slight increase for a
double room.

Many of you like to arrive a few days early to do some touring
and visit friends. The Welcome Reception will take place on
Thursday April 23rd. The Board Meeting will be held on Friday
April 24th with a working lunch for Board Members. There
will be a local day tour on Saturday April 25th with a Farwell
Dinner that evening.

Morocco is a fascinating place to visit. If you are planning pre
or post tours I recommend Fes or Marrakesh. Although I have
never been there, I understand Tangier is a fascinating city as
well. Do a little research and take advantage of your visit, our
first ever meeting in Africa.
