Honorary
Membership
The World Association of Detectives (W.A.D.) Honorary
Membership is a prestigious membership awarded in
perpetuity to an individual who has performed a particular
and distinguished service to the association.
We are pleased to announce that at the 100th Centennial
Celebration in Chicago, Honorary Membership was accorded
to Karen S. Beers, BSW, CCDI, CFDI-SME, in recognition of
her outstanding service to W.A.D. Karen Beers started with
W.A.D. in August of 2015 and has served our association
with exceptional dedication as Administrative Manager for
the past ten years. Her tireless efforts and professionalism
have been invaluable, and it would be difficult to imagine
performing numerous day-to-day duties without her
unwavering support.
Karen joined the agency in 1996. Her background in
education and experience with victim advocacy and
counseling are valuable assets in working with families and
victims of traumatic events. Since 2008 she has specialized,
with her Husband Dean, in Expert Consultations and Legal
Investigations nationwide in Personal Injury, Negligence &
Death in Civil, Criminal and Probate litigation. Together they
developed the Certified Forensic Death Investigator (CFDI)
Program exclusively for Criminal Defense Investigators.
Karen is a member of several associations, including
Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado,
