DMSO
DMSO is the abbreviation of dimethyl sulfoxide.
DMSO is an organic solvent,
which is widely used in laboratories, pharmaceuticals,
in the medical and technical fields.
A natural and organic sulfur compound,
a versatile chemical solvent,
which is a by-product of wood processing
of pulp production.
With very good properties and versatile applications, the agent is
often diluted with water or other aqueous solutions.
DMSO is a unique bipolar solvent.
Dimethylsulfoxide is an active ingredient from the group of anti-
inflammatory drugs used for the external treatment of pain,
inflammation and swelling.
It combines with both water and fats,
so it is water and fat soluble.
This means that it can be used as a solvent in a wide range of
industrial applications.
