Welcome to the 2024 TMPAA Mid-Year Meeting!

As the TMPAA enters its 23rd consecutive year as the premier destination for program business,
we are pleased to welcome you to sunny Tampa, Florida for what will be another action-packed and
information-rich Mid-Year Meeting. The association continues to set new records for attendance,
a testament to the quality of the programming and the value that our members receive from
networking with the most talented professionals in our industry.

Years of listening to membership feedback has informed us that you expect TM to deliver relevant,
informative workshops and provide access to the brightest minds in our industry. It’s no easy task to
meet those exacting standards but the association remains up to the challenge. The Mid-Year agenda
includes workshops focused on the critical issues of restrictive covenant agreements and the keys to
unlocking the vast potential of the next generation workforce. We are also very fortunate to have Aon
CEO, Greg Case, join us as our industry speaker on Monday afternoon.

Our keynote speaker for this event is Diana Nyad. Diana is the first person to make the harrowing
swim from Cuba to the shores of Florida – not far from our meeting site – in 2013. In addition to
accomplishing her lifelong dream of completing the 111-mile swim, she has a decades-long and
distinguished career as a sports journalist with National Public Radio and The New York Times, among
other media outlets, and is a published author with four books to her credit. She is a member of the
Women’s Sports Hall of Fame and International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame, and recipient of
other prominent awards and distinctions recognizing her lifetime of achievements. Be sure to attend
                   Tuesday’s keynote address, swimsuits optional.
Target Markets has a proud history of supporting charities, facilitating industry education, and
promoting diversity in our membership. The Mid-Year meeting will include updates on TMPAA
Charities, the unveiling of the new Program Business Professional (PBP) Designation, and our
Women’s Leadership Group Lunch on Tuesday. On Wednesday, we will hear from an atmospheric
research scientist about strategic imperatives for business and insurance resilience, and after the
general session, we invite you to attend the informative Lloyd’s Coverholder Boot Camp.
Perhaps most importantly, there will be ample time and space for you to interact with colleagues and
friends who come together twice yearly for TMPAA. Our membership reminds us regularly that no
other gathering offers the same level of personal interaction and access to industry leaders in one
place. We remain focused on creating an environment that helps you foster longstanding relationships
and build new ones, and we trust you will find the facility layout, amenities, and sponsored food and
refreshments conducive to your efforts. On behalf of the Target Markets staff, advisory board, and our
valued sponsors, we welcome you and wish you a productive and enriching Mid-Year Meeting!
