Kapitan Keling Mosque is the oldest mosque

in Georgetown. Named after the Indian

Muslim community leader of the era. It was

build by Kader Mydin Merican, The Kapitan

Keling and headman of the South Indian

community.

The interior walls of the mosque are covered

with calligraphy arts. The mosque is

surrounded by garden giving the calm and

peaceful vibe.
