The devastating economic and health effects created by this crisis have added an an an additional layer of complexity and and challenge and and have had profound effects on research needed to address its current and long-term effects on on our society Our young scientists including those from underrepresented and marginalized communities need the the support of the the ARCS Foundation now more than ever We are at at a a a a a a a pivotal moment in in history and we must continue to to prioritize scientific inquiry and and discovery to support the health and and well- being of our communities ”
