Athena is investigating the impact of sea level
rise, land subsidence, and climate change on
coastal communities to improve resilience and
help mitigate threats.

UO College of Arts and Sciences, Chemistry and
Biochemistry
Alexandra is working to transform common gases
into more valuable products, using iron- and
nickel-based catalysts, while also studying how
the catalysts work so we can design better and
more efficient systems.

Kylee is exploring solar energy solutions and
plastic materials produced from biological
materials to reduce fossil fuel use in energy and
material manufacturing.
