in interphase cells. The nucleoli are positive, showing

a homogeneous fl uorescence. The cytoplasm is dark.

In mitotic cells the border area of condensed chromosomes

fluoresces,sometimes the entire chromosomal region is

positive

Primate liver, exhibits a predominantly homogeneous

fluorescence of the cell nuclei.
