Amazonas is Brazil’s largest state. It spans almost 1.6 million square kilometers (almost 1
million square miles). Occupied mostly by equatorial rainforest and waterways, it’s no surprise
that Amazonas’ population only represents less than 2% of the population in Brazil. There’s
