Program Notes
CORE PROGRAMS
• Distributions as of November 20th: $3,100,000
• Palm Beach Atlantic University
Lady and Sharon attended the annual American Free Enterprise Day celebration. Theodore Johnson Sr. was one of the earliest recipients of this award.
INDIGENOUS PEOPLES PROGRAMS
• Distributions as of November 20th: $1,118,371
• Endowment programs meeting
A meeting was held in Scottsdale for all of the schools with JSF endowments either finalized or in process, plus the two organizations with endowments. (See report attached)
• Entrepreneurship Scholarships Annual Meeting
The annual meeting was held in Scottsdale with all but one of the schools attending. (See report attached)
• Martin Family Initiative – Business programs
JSF has been notified that the grant approved in September for MFI’s business programs is no longer needed at this time. (See report attached)
• Martin Family Initiative – The Early Years program
An agreement with MFI for The Early Years is out for execution by MFI.
• Site visits
Bobby and Rick were busy before the annual meeting in Scottsdale visiting Northwest Indian College,
Institute of American Indian Arts and Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute.
• Site visit to Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University
Rick visited LCO, which is now a university. (See report attached)
DISCRETIONARY PROGRAMS
• Distributions as of November 20th: $1,959,300
• Dalhousie University

Dalhousie University has announced that President Deep Saini will leave at the end of 2022 to accept the Principal and Vice-Chancellor position at McGill University. Dalhousie Provost Frank Harvey will serve as acting President.
