• Nativity Prep
The team at Nativity developed a video for the school’s 2022 Promise Dinner, which was held on

• Take Stock/Johnson Scholars
During the month of October, the Take Stock Johnson Scholars program hosted college tours where students visited the University of South Florida and Florida Polytechnic University. Students can visit Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, and the University of Central Florida in November. These college tours are meticulously organized specifically for the students and provide opportunities for students to get a feel for college life.
• Thank you grant
Sonoma State University requested that this be divided among 3 campus projects: Native American Initiative funding to support tribal-focused education efforts; technology assistance for first-generation/ low-income students; and a “Presidential” recruitment scholarship to use for an incoming first-year student. The grant agreement letter has gone to Sonoma State University for execution.
December 2022 meetings
End Notes
The December meetings will be the second weekend in December. The dinner will be Friday, December 9th. The Grant Program Committee meeting, Compensation Committee meeting, and convening dinner will be Saturday, December 10th. The Disadvantaged Convening will be Sunday, December 11th. The weekend will cap off with everyone invited to a casual dinner at Bobby and Susan’s house. (see attached master schedule)

March 2023 meetings
Planning is underway for the March 19 – 21 meetings. The plan is to include a site visit to Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
