STAFF/ OFFICE:
CFO/ Financial Controller
Tommy Pence started his Financial Controller position at JSF on Monday, June 19th, 2023. Dick Krause served his last day as CFO on Monday, July 31, 2023. We had a staff luncheon and a chocolate cake.
Through Dick’s mentorship, Tommy’s onboarding has gone exceptionally well. Authorization privileges have been transferred to the CEO and the Financial Controller as prescribed by the Board in March 2023. FFOG membership has been successfully transferred to Tommy.
Per Board Directive in March 2023, Templeton was consulted regarding Dick’s agreement. Templeton affirmed the terms of the agreement to be consistent with that of a consultant (1099) and not of an employee (W2).
Financial Consultant
Dick’s Financial Consultant agreement is complete and reflects the JSF Board directive from March 2023.
Medical Insurance
Susan has been added to the JSF medical insurance policy. Thank you.
Password Security
JSF staff has implemented a new password protection protocol. We are in the process of moving all JSF passwords held by staff to password manager “KEEPER”. This IT security improvement is a big step in managing sensitive usernames and passwords.
2023 Board Retreat Committee (BRC)
The BRC, (Malcolm, Bill and Bobby) continues to meet monthly with Consultant Lowell Weiss. Lowell has begun to schedule individual interviews with Directors and Consultant
