Director discretionary and matching grants
Remember that Director discretionary grant and matching grant requests need to be in the office by August 18th in order to be considered for approval at the September Grant Program Committee meeting. There is better than $129,000 of budgeted funds still available in these programs.
September 2022 meetings
The September semi-annual Board meeting, committee meetings and visit to Weingarten Children’s Center will be September 11th through 13th. (See attached master schedule.) We will be staying at the St. Regis Hotel at 125 Third Street. We have scheduled the site visit to Sonoma State University in northern California on September 13th. They have planned a donor/sponsor cocktail reception at a local winery that afternoon. We will have dinner in Healdsburg and then return to the hotel.
Dinner choices for Sunday, September 11th:
Grass fed beef tenderloin; black truffle cauliflower puree, baby carrots, cabernet veal jus OR
Alaskan halibut, roasted marble potato, green olives, citrus supreme, shaved baby beets
Dinner choices for Monday, September 12th:
Petaluma free range organic chicken breast, smoked eggplant puree, couscous, fava bean, harissa
OR
King salmon, heirloom carrots, quinoa, cumin orange foam
Sharon MUST have these choices by Friday, September 2nd to provide to the hotel.
December 2022 meetings
The December meetings will be the second weekend in December. The dinner will be Friday, December 9th. The Grant Program Committee meeting, Compensation Committee meeting, and convening dinner will be Saturday, December 10th. The Disadvantaged Convening will be Sunday, December 11th.
