2023 - 2024 Program Metrics
The Access Academy program had 115 students complete at least one course last year in one of the three
instructional areas. These students had an overall GPA of 3.17 at the beginning of the year and an overall GPA of
3.30 at the end of the year. A total of 16 participating students graduated with an average GPA of 3.37. The
following chart summarizes the survey results of participants’ perceptions of Access Academy in 2023-2024.

Summary
In summary, Access Academy is enjoying great success with programming, student participation, and funding
from our generous partners who make this program possible. The gifts from the Johnson Scholarship Foundation
and Michael Ward and Jennifer Glock Foundation will ensure that the Access Academy can continue for years to
come. Access Academy is a foundational program in the SAC that builds skills for our students with disabilities to
thrive at the University of North Florida.
