Aircraft general knowledge
A Waste Gate regulates the turbo so that it does not reach too high a speed.
It does this by opening so that part of the exhaust gas is directed around the
turbocharger and directly out via the exhaust.

8.11 Propeller
The purpose of the propeller is to provide a method of propulsion so that the
aircraft is able to move forward through the air.
The propeller itself consists of two or more blades connected by a central hub
that attaches the blades to the engine shaft.
Older aircraft have propellers made of wood. Today, new propellers are made of
aluminum.
Most propellers are 2-bladed. However, 3-bladed propellers are becoming more
and more common. This reduces the noise emitted, and with greater focus on
the environment, every means must be used to reduce noise. It is usually
possible to change the blade angle on 3-bladed propellers.
