Continuous quality improvement (CQI):
Quality of care should be well documented, evaluated and measure to be taken to
improvise.

Designed committee should audit the quality of patient care, satisfaction, and
implementation required.
Responsibility of management (ROM):
Management in the hospital should be organized with Organogram

Each individual should be given appropriate responsibility
Staff co ordination and grievance should be well attended with documented policy
Billing process should be transparent and ethical

Facility management and safety (FMS):
Safety measures available in the hospital should be well documented, signage well
displayed at appropriate places.
Staff should be well trained to maintain safety measure and report any adverse events

Proper arrangements should be done for electricity and clean water.
Preventive and break down plan should be well maintained for all equipments
Hospital should be well equipped for fire and non fire emergencies, and all staff should
be well trained with proper rescue plans, mock drills should be well documented and

conducted at regular intervals
Human resource management(HRM):
Personal Records of the staff with immunization should be well maintained
Disciplinary and grievance procedure should be well defined. Staff training records

should be well maintained and scheduled.
Information management system (IMS):
Documented policy for entry, maintenance and retrieval of records.

Records should be maintained for all patients and maintained for legally required period
Template for SOP is available on NABH website , it will help in writing SOP and Manuals
according to your hospital requirement.
All SOP should be written according to your working, so its easy to implement for the
staff
