      Management of Medication (MOM)
      In this manual policy details about purchase, storage, prescription and dispensing of
      medications need to be documented
      Detail policy about prescription writing, who can administer medication, guidelines to

      prevent medicinal errors like look alike and sound alike medication, high risk medication
      administration, clear orders of medication, proper procedure for alert on near expiry
      medications should be documented and implemented with staff training.
      Adverse drug reaction policy should be well implemented and documented properly
      and audited at intervals

      Procurement and usage of implants should be documented and implemented
      Patients rights and education (PRE):
          1. Patients rights and responsibilities should be well documented and displayed

          2. Patients has right to get treatment with personal dignity and privacy
          3. Should be educated well about the disease,  treatment procedure and cost
          4. Patients has rights to assess their records
      Hospital infection control (HIC):

          All  measure  to  keep  environment  clean  for  staff  and  patients  should  be  well
          documented and followed by staff training.
          Records  for  Operation  ,  ward  and  patient  area  surveillance  should  be  well

          maintained  and supervised.
          Staff immunization records should be well maintained, should be provided with
          personal protective equipments and pre and post exposure prophylaxis should be
          well explained and implemented.
          Biomedical waste procedures should be strictly followed and staff should be well

          trained.
