                Junior Golfers and Parents are encouraged to join us for an informative hour on how to be recruited to
                 play golf on the collegiate level.  A lot goes in to having your son or daughter play golf at the next level
                and this process can be tricky or uncomfortable.  This seminar will provide great insight for players and
                                        parents to make the recruiting process effortless!

                                               An overview of how the recruiting process works
                                               What qualities college coaches look for in a recruit
                                               How parents can help their son/daughter be recruited
                                               An insight on how college golf programs operate
                                               A day in the life of a student athlete

               Discussion Panel Will Include:

               Robert Shutte, PGA – Rutgers University Head Men’s Golf Coach
                                      th
                          Shutte, in his 8  year of collegiate coaching, is coming off his first season as Rutgers Head Men’s Golf
                          coach.  Before Rutgers, Shutte spent two years as Lehigh University’s Head Women’s Coach, and five
                          years as Muhlenberg College’s Head Men’s Golf Coach.  Shutte is a Class “A” member of the PGA of
                          America since 2003, and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree
                          in parks and recreation management.



               Paul Dillon – Fordham University Head Men’s Golf Coach

                          Dillon is in his 17  year at Fordham University.  In 2004, Dillon received the Atlantic 10 Golf Coach of
                          the Year award, as well as the Iron Major Award, as Fordham Coach of the Year.  Dillon is currently
                          serving as the President of the Metropolitan Golf Association and he has also served as the President
                          of the Westchester Golf Association and the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund.  A graduate of Iona
                          College, Dillon worked for 30 years as a packaging systems manager for Union Camp Corp., and has
                          been an artist and portrait painter for the last 20 years.

               Jim Hutnik – Lafayette College Head Men’s Golf Coach
                          Hutnik is entering his 10th season as Leopards' head golf coach.  He coached Lafayette to the Patriot
                          League Championship, was named Coach of the Year, and mentored three All-Patriot League
                          selections in 2009-2020.  Hutnik is a 1978 graduate of Lafayette College and holds a degree in History.
                          Prior to his time at Lafayette, Hutnik held a variety of coaching positions at Easton High School,
                          Bethlehem Catholic High School, Allentown College (now DeSales University), University at Maine,
                          and Brandeis University.
