The opening of a new year offers us an ideal opportunity to perform the self-re ection that St.Augustine calls us to. Not only can we look back at our accomplishments, but we can also examine our identity and what makes our mission as Augustinians unique.What, for example, sets Cascia Hall apart from other schools? We can begin to answer this question even as we welcome students into the start of the Minimester, a unique opportunity to pursue their own interests in and out of the classroom.
The distinctly Augustinian heritage of Cascia Hall can be read in the stunning architecture of the buildings themselves—from the monastery and chapel to the most recent addition of the performing arts center.Any visitor to the campus is made immediately aware that they’re entering a community with roots that extend much deeper than its Tulsa setting. Originally erected in 1926, Cascia Hall took its design inspiration from the schools and abbeys found in the Normandy region of France. It was in this region that the Augustinian order experienced tremendous growth in the 15th and 16th centuries.We harken back to this  ourishing
