Unforgettable Experience

I have always wanted to help people who have found them-
selves in a difficult situation. And after joining the Yum! Compa-
ny I have learnt that volunteering has been actively developed
here – and this subject is so close to my heart. That is why I im-
mediately started joining various projects – aiding orphanages,
participating in community cleaning days, fundraising and help-
ing animals as a volunteer.
Once we decided to hold a volunteer project which could
have united all the KFC volunteers in different cities and towns!
Thus, appeared the idea of the annual community cleaning day
called “CLEAN CITY BY KFC”, and later “A New Year Marathon”.
This was an unforgettable time! Now I am always smiling when
I remember it. I have learnt so much due to that experience.
When I see that our initiatives have turned into such large-
scale projects, I get proud that I was standing at the origins. I am
very happy to be a volunteer because by helping others I am
making this world a little better. I am also aware that there are
a great many people like me, and KFC volunteers provide a vivid
proof to that.
