8 And So The Tedium Continues...

We do have a great mag in store for you this month, not that we never
do but I have to admit I have felt a little satisfaction in producing this
                                           particular edition.

As the great Max Bygraves used to say, ‘I wanna tell you a story...” Yep,
that’s right, I’ve got a belter to let you all into over the next coming three
12 has been forgotten about until recently. My wish is that he will remain
months. And it’s all about one man who died over a century ago who

immortal in my new book but you need to know more. Read on at page
                                           20.

Check out that cover pic in Western Australia. How cool is that! The
great news is, there are lots more like that on page 14 along with a bril-
liant tale of the pirate Black Jack Anderson. You’ll love it.

There are so many other great articles in this edition, many from our
regular writers of which I would personally like to say thank you in
making my job so easy and enjoyable. Which brings me on to my next
14 point of saying how nice it is that the boss is now giving a little free
promotion and advertising service to our loyal SAFFERS. During these
times we are definitely all feeling the pinch in the pockets to the point
that many unfortunate souls are losing their livelihoods due to the re-
strictions. So being able to give a helping hand is definitely a feel good
                                           factor.

As you may read over the coming pages, there will be changes to the
magazine production formats within the next few months as I endeav-
our to turn my magazine platform into a functional business. This won’t
affect SAFFER except for upgrades in the presentation but the amount of
magazines I am juggling with, demanded more of a structure hence the
beginning of ‘The Magazine Mechanic’. More to follow on that.

20 Finally, remember to keep looking after yourselves and others by staying
                                           at home and staying safe.

                                           That’s all for now,

                                           Paul,
                                           Magazine Mechanic
