Back For More Great Content...
Greetings Kind Folk,
Welcome to our February edition. I have to say, since last month’s
launch of the first issue, many dams full of water have flowed into the
sea, as you would expect. My learning curve has been about as steep
as the proverbial “dead-man’s curve” - most chopper aviators will tell
you about. Yep… stay out of that zone and be safe! However, when one
takes on more than one can chew, one finds ways of not choking. OK,
that may be a tad graphic but hey… just the other day I asked myself
the question about old dogs and new tricks – so, I’ll repeat my answer
to self. Either I’m not old, or I’m not a dog… or maybe even both?
OK… enough about my indigestion problems. So, there we were –
facing a rather stiff deadline, necessitating the executive decision to
push the launch out to 20 January – the results of the pushout speak
for themselves. Thanks to Paul - the FenderBomb - who is responsible In this month’s magazine the regulars return, thanks to Inge, Dries,

special thanks to those who took the first edition experiment on faith! Also, in this month’s issue – our very first letter to the editor. Thanks

our fun – spreading more positive reaction.
I have to keep myself from pinching myself – yes, I know that sounds
all wrong but hey – you know what I mean, don’t you? I also have to
keep reminding myself that this platform is built on music too. So, as
of this issue, Jane will be adding her special touch – music from the
songwriter’s perspective.
Joe has taken up where I left off my little trip along the Irish canals. I’m
crossing my fingers that he’ll keep feeding the monster, because the
Irish Canal system has a fascinating attraction. I’m also proud to say
that in this month’s issue we begin sharing the story of Cristin’s quest
– to cycle around the world in record time – breaking the Guinness
World Record in the process.
Philip has kindly provided a brief history of the SAAFA – a special
feature in this month’s Veterans Tales section. The stories just keep
on coming… and you, our happy readers are asked only a few things,
please. Enjoy, support and share… we are really indebted to you for the
success of this friendship building endeavour!
Thank you,
Vossie
