Alumni Ensembles Concert

Nazareth invites its music alumni back to campus to join forces in ensembles large and small. Wind, brass, string, and vocal works by Howard Hanson, Beethoven, Duke Ellington, and Nancy Strelau. Rebecca Gilbert, principal flutist of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, will be featured.
Bands on the Lawn

The Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band combine to offer a fun, family-friendly outdoor concert during Homecoming Weekend, joined by the Chamber Singers and Concert Choir. Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets welcome!

The enduring appeal of Baroque music stems from encounters between lyricism, instrumental color, textural interconnection, and rhythmic vitality. This program features Telemann’s Tafelmusik, Bach’s Violin Sonata in E, and the glorious Brandenburg Concerto No. 2. Performed by Nazareth faculty and guests.
Faculty Showcase Concert

Music faculty will perform a concert featuring Darius Milhaud’s La Création du monde, along with trios, quartets, and quintets taken from a wide gamut of musical styles, as part of the Nazareth College Family Weekend.
