The Culture Report
Most famous people are talented individuals who are truly amazing at something whether it be music,
science or even Youtube hair tutorials, a famous person gets attention and recognition by people. One
day Mike Tyson was the athlete of the week, the next he was a rapist and now he’s a meme.
RKelly’s music is the soundtrack of most of Black America’s existence but now many are determined to
mute him and his music.
One day President Obama was the savior of our people, today the question we often hear in the
barbershop is, “What has Obama done for the people?” Beyonce has just as many bees in the hive as
she has haters with wasp spray.
The bottom line is this, you must live your life for the passion that was placed in you by your creator
and not for the fame given to you by people.
Our focus has to be making sure that each day we live, we are doing things that causes no harm to
others but instead adds something positive and beautiful to the world. You could be called to
accounting, politics, music, dance, ministry, missions, childcare, education, detailing cars, painting or a
million other things, and the world needs you to walk in your calling.
Your work might make you famous, but remember your greatest fan must be you.
